One definition of “itinerant” is “one who works and wanders”. This kind of fits my life – both vocationally and otherwise.
I am an Episcopal Priest serving as Rector of St. Simon’s on the Sound in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida! I started there on July 25, 2016.
I have two grown, amazing daughters, both married to fabulous guys, and a brilliant and hilarious son, and married to my best friend for 40 years. And now we have welcomed our first five grandchildren!

I grew up mostly in South Mississippi, I am a recovering Baptist who spent 20+years working in Data Processing in the banking world, following a double major from the University of Southern Mississippi in Computer Science AND Coaching! Yep, you heard that right. I love sports (real ones, not soccer) and Southern Miss athletics in particular, the Chicago Cubs, the Saints and the Steelers.
At the age of 40 I decided to stop trying to hide from God’s call and enter seminary to prepare to become an Episcopal Priest.

What a wonderful synopsis. I joined the Church fairly recently and was Baptized on November 4, 2018 by you. Words seem to fail me when I try to explain what a difference the church has made in my life. I want very much to become more involved and you Father, have been an inspiration.
