About Me

One definition of “itinerant” is “one who works and wanders”. This kind of fits my life – both vocationally and otherwise.

I am an Episcopal Priest serving as Rector of St. Simon’s on the Sound in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida! I started there on July 25, 2016.

I have two grown, amazing daughters, both married to fabulous12779153_943406715349_5482781706577202217_o guys, and a brilliant and hilarious son, and married to my best friend for 33 years. And now we have we12029781_10153519552982831_3478669695709329269_olcomed our first grandchildren!
Blessed I am!

I grew up mostly in South Mississippi, I am a recovering Baptist who spent 20+years working in Data Processing in the banking world, following a double major from the University of Southern Mississippi in Computer Science AND Coaching! Yep, you heard that right. I love sports (real ones, not soccer) and Southern Miss athletics in particular, the Chicago Cubs, the Saints and the Steelers.

At the age of 40 I decided to stop trying to hide from God’s call and enter seminary to prepare to become an Episcopal Priest.

These are my thoughts, some on church, some on people, some on family, some on life in general. Thanks for stopping by. As we wander and work may we always take our time and give thanks.

Here is the pic I sent to St. Paul’s Delray Beach when they were considering me as Interim. And they called me anyway!!
